My name is Bill Crowson, and I research and compile
information on the Crowson family. In 1999 I published a current
book on Crowson genealogy. This was not a commercial project, but
rather something I do as a hobby. My goal has been to compile all
available information, link together the various branches of the
Crowson family, and publish it in a form that will endure for many
years.
This is a handsomely bound hardback
book, size 8 1/2" by 11", containing about 650 pages
of Crowson material.
It begins with Robert Crowson,
who migrated to America from England around 1686. In addition
to basic information about each person, it contains narrative
material and about 70 genealogy charts of various branches
of the family.
The book is
different from any Crowson book previously published, and contains
a considerable amount of information never before published. For
example, a possible line of ancestry has been found for the first
Crowson in America, extending back to England in the middle 1500s.
I have attempted to make it the most complete Crowson genealogy
book published to date.
This is a book which your family can proudly display
and use in finding your connections to the rest of the Crowson family
in America. I am not trying to make a profit, and am selling it
at a cost which will enable me to hopefully break even.
Ever wonder
what to get a relative for a birthday or Christmas gift? This would
make a very nice gift for anyone interested in their Crowson roots.
So in addition to a personal copy, perhaps you might want to consider
obtaining one or more copies to give as gifts. Also, in order to
get Crowson genealogy material into the various libraries, you might
want to consider obtaining a copy to donate to your local library.
